1. Purpose
This Policy describes when and how TraIDCred may suspend or terminate an Account or revoke verification status, and the notice and appeal available to affected Tradespeople. It is designed to be applied fairly and consistently.
2. Grounds for action
TraIDCred may suspend or terminate an Account, un-publish a Public Profile, or revoke verification status or the Badge for reasons including:
(a) violation of the Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Fraud & Misrepresentation Policy, the Verification Program Terms, or the Verification Badge Usage Policy;
(b) submission of forged, altered, or materially misleading Credentials;
(c) conduct that creates legal, safety, security, or reputational risk to the Services or Users;
(d) a legal or regulatory requirement, court order, or valid third-party request;
(e) prolonged Account inactivity, subject to notice; or
(f) discontinuation of the Services or a feature.
3. Types of action
TraIDCred may, proportionate to the circumstances: (a) revoke or downgrade a verification status; (b) suspend an Account temporarily; (c) terminate an Account permanently; (d) un-publish or restrict a Public Profile; and (e) revoke the Badge license.
4. Process and notice
4.1 Notice. Where reasonably practicable, TraIDCred will give notice of a suspension or termination and a general, factual reason, communicated privately to the affected Tradesperson.
4.2 Immediate action. For suspected fraud, security or safety threats, legal requirements, or risk of harm, TraIDCred may act immediately and without prior notice, providing notice afterward where appropriate.
4.3 Effect. Upon suspension or termination, access to some or all Services may be disabled, the Public Profile may be un-published, and the Badge license terminates. Data handling follows the Data Retention Policy and the Privacy Policy.
5. Appeals
5.1 A Tradesperson may contest a suspension, termination, or status revocation by contacting support@traidcred.com within 30 days of the action. TraIDCred will review the request in good faith and respond within a reasonable time.
5.2 Reinstatement may be conditioned on correcting the underlying issue (for example, submitting valid, current Credentials).
6. Voluntary closure
A Tradesperson may close its Account at any time. Closure un-publishes the Public Profile; data handling follows the Data Retention Policy, including retention of minimal records TraIDCred must keep by law or for evidence of consent and verification history.
7. Survival
Termination does not relieve either party of obligations that accrued before termination. Provisions of the Terms that by their nature survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) continue to apply.
8. Effect on paid subscriptions
If your Account is suspended or terminated, the effect on your fees, subscription, proration, and any refund is governed by the Subscription & Billing Terms and the Refund Policy. In general, termination for your violation of the Terms does not entitle you to a refund; voluntary cancellation is handled as described in the Subscription & Billing Terms. Suspension does not pause or extend a billing period unless TraIDCred states otherwise in writing.
9. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah and is subject to the governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms of Service.
